Journeys Home Pet Euthanasia

JourneysPet.com

When the subscription period for her WIX site expired, vet Katie Hilst chose to continue our working relationship. The new website is in WordPress which is much better for SEO (search engine optimization).

The site has quite a few Gravity forms:

  • testimonial submissions
  • general contact
  • pet tributes memorials
  • a quiz to evaluate quality of life scale for pets

The original theme used was Awake but in a confusing business decision, the author team abandoned all of the pretty themes they offered. (In 2017 these themes are on the list of 25 most attacked for malware according to WordFence.) I saw the writing on the wall and moved all of my Awake and DejaVu sites to Striking which has adapted to the design styles nicely.

Responsive?  Definitely! (Striking Theme)
Client Since: 2012, name changed from Hilst Vet in 2014
Referred by: The site owner herself – this is repeat business! (old site)

We probably do not say this enough, but truly your work on this website has been such an asset to our business. It has grown as we have grown, and I agree that it’s a package of resources for our current and potential clients.

We get so much great feedback on how intuitive it is to navigate, and how informative it is. I do really think it puts a lot of pet families at ease once they’ve spent time there before and after our actual home visits. This is both due to your guidance/development Deb, and all the amazing resources we created together.
